Happy Birthday to Robert Hooke, 28 July 1635 – 3 March 1703. Hooke’s 1665 publication, Micrographia, showed brilliant engravings of life through a microscope and sparked an interest in the new science and technology.
The History Collective was founded by Jason Sager (PhD) and Gwenith Cross to provide an online community for historians to network and share research interests. Members are invited to contribute relevant posts on their own research, history in the media, book reviews (academic or historical fiction), and videos or podcasts on historical studies.
